Piotr Szewczyk (pronouced Pyotr Shev-Chick) is an award-winning violinist and composer, creator of the critically-acclamed Violin Futura Project, an active soloist, recitalist and chamber musician and violinist in the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra in Florida.
Winner of the 2008 Jacksonville Symphony FRESH INK Competition, Piotr Szewczyk was commissioned to write a new orchestra piece, First Coast Fanfare which will be premiered on April 15, 2010.
